Science period 6 Students will be using their Netbooks to go to HaikuLearning.

Go to Haiku - Science - plate tectonics. All directions for the students are in Haiku. Distribute the map of the Earth's plates. Students are to draw in arrows to show movement of plates. They also need to highlight and label types of plate boundaries. The legend for this is on the map in Haiku. If they finish this, they can go to the interactive site in Haiku. If not finished, this becomes homework.

Math period 7 Distribute POW. In seating chart binder.

Use the flipchart to work through the camera math task. The flipchart is behind this page. Hide Chrome, or move to bottom.

Explain process to students. The answer keys are on my desk in the seating chart orange binder. Give students some time to try to calculate the answers on their own before sharing answers with them. If they finish early, have them read silently.

STEM Period 8

Students go to Haiku-STEM - STEM 4/20/15.

They will be reading an article then using a Google Form to respond as a reading comprehension check.
